Organizational Status
The village will operate as a non-profit charitable organization with a governing Board of Directors and a Special Advisory Committee consisting of Community stakeholders with an interest in children’s safety. Major committees
have been formed to include Fund-raising, Public & Community Relations, Curriculum/School Liaison,
Volunteers and Operating/Maintenance personnel.

Operations and Maintenance
Operations, including safety programs, will be coordinated by and through the City of Brantford, Brant County and Six Nations Police and Fire Departments, who will allocate safety officers full or part time to the village and will be assisted by volunteers and co-op students.
Maintenance of the buildings and grounds will be by contract and sponsorship programs coordinated by Village staff. Equipment maintenance, including battery driven cars, will be carried out by appropriate personnel.
